Large two-story home surrounded by an expansive, evenly kept lawn at golden hour

Our Crew

A Murphy-based crew that grew by referral

Five cities, one standard for how a yard should look after we leave.

Started with one mower and a handful of yards in Murphy

Bluestem grew out of a simple frustration: crews that showed up whenever, cut whatever was in front of them, and moved on. We wanted the opposite. Same crew, same standards, every visit.

We're a Murphy-based crew that now covers Wylie, Plano, Sachse, and Allen. Most of our clients found us through a neighbor, which means the yard two houses down is usually a better reference than anything we could put on this page.

We plant what actually survives North Texas clay and August heat, we tell you honestly when something won't work, and we show up on the schedule we agreed on.

How we operate

Straight answers

If a plant won't survive your yard's sun or soil, we say so before you pay for it, not after it dies.

Same crew, same standard

The people who bid the job are the people who show up to do it. Nobody gets handed off to a subcontractor.

Built for clay and heat

Every design accounts for North Texas soil and a real August, not a plant tag written for somewhere else.

Local, not regional

We work five cities, not fifty. That's a limit we chose so a crew is always close enough to actually show up.

Design, install, and the mowing schedule after, all handled by the same crew.
